Give the man sweets

Noodlies, sweet Sydney food blog

Candylicious is a simple idea, bright, colourful candy and sweet, seductive chocolate. Step inside and feel like a child again. Over 120 varieties of chocolates, sweet and sour candies from Spain, jelly beans from USA and freshly made rocky road.

candylicious candy

Candy Licious is at the centre of World Square’s ground floor, so it’s easy to get at the sweetness from any direction. To make things simple for the inner child, all lollies that you can scoop or grab with tongs are the one price, shovel them into the candy stripped paper bag and pay by weight.

candylicious-fruit-slices

My favourite is the delicate fruit slices; lime, lemon, watermelon, they could be anything I want them to be, a rainbow of colours with a gritty sugary hit.

For the chocoholics, one side of the shop is devoted to rocky roads, aniseed rings, biscuits, all sizes and shapes of chocolate delights. A Willy Wonka-esq decadent pure Belgian hot chocolate fountain is coming to pour over fresh strawberries, marshmallows and other candies.

candylicious strawberry

Don’t miss glowing delights like crimson strawberries and flouro lips.

This World Square Candylicious is the fourth store in Australia, the first launched at Manly Wharf in 2010. Late night cravings are catered for – the World Square store is open until midnight.
